Aug.29?th, Chester????????????For most of the Summer, the police did not appear to be very busy around the Village in terms of traffic enforcement. Earlier in the season there were smaller cars zipping around the Village at higher speeds than posted and the odd parking violation. Chester Race Week saw the usual heavy police presence mainly monitoring drinking and driving and vandalism threats. CRW appeared to be a fairly tame event from a policing perspective this year.
in the last week or so, the RCMP?s South Shore Traffic services have been busy and visible in the Chester area. Below, we bring you the latest press release from the RCMP telling about their latest efforts in the Chester area.
